Driving Test Helper

A driving test extension, for a new booking

Your details, typed in for you. Every time it checks.

  1. Type your details once. Licence, test type, dates, centres.
  2. It fills in the DVSA form and keeps checking your test centres, on your own device.
  3. You book and pay. It opens the slot it finds and stops there.

The driving test extension at work, on the real booking site

The Chrome extension in the browser, the Android app on the phone, both filling in the same DVSA form. How a driving test extension works.

What it does, and where it stops

It runs on your own device, selects the slot matching your criteria, and stops at the payment page. You pay and confirm the booking.

It does

  • Fills in your licence number and other details
  • Looks for a slot at the centres, dates and times you pick
  • Alerts when a slot comes up

You handle

  • The security check & captcha
  • The payment and the booking
  • Any change or cancellation

Your licence number goes into the DVSA form and nowhere else. What we keep, and how to delete it

Pay once

One payment. Use it on Chrome, on Android, or both, until you have booked.

Don't buy this if you've already booked your test.

It makes new bookings only. To start again, cancel on GOV.UK first, then book with it.

Before you ask

Anything else, email us.

I've already booked a test. Can it move it?

No. It can't move, swap or cancel a booking you already hold, so please don't buy it for that. If you'd rather start again, cancel your test on GOV.UK, then use it to make a new booking.

Will it definitely find me a slot?

No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. It can only catch a slot that actually appears, which depends on your centres and your dates. What it does is type the form and check your centres for as long as you leave it running, and make sure you know the moment one does.

Do I have to leave it running?

Yes. On Chrome it searches in a DVSA tab you leave open, so leave that tab alone and get on with something else. On Android, leave the app open with the screen on; a phone on a desk is the dependable setup. Either way you get a loud alarm when it finds something.

Is this a Chrome extension?

Yes. Driving Test Helper is a driving test extension for Google Chrome, installed from the Chrome Web Store, plus an Android app that does the same job on a phone. One purchase covers both. It doesn't run in Edge, Firefox or Safari.

What about refunds?

All sales are final and your statutory rights are unaffected. The refund policy sets out the details plainly before you buy.
